Edward O'Brien, Advisor

Edward I. O’Brien III is a securities industry executive who is currently President of EOB Investments LLC. He has worked in the investment industry for over 30 years and is also involved in a number of boards and charitable organizations.

Mr. O’Brien began his career at Prudential Securities where he spent 20 years in a variety of positions in the Fixed Income division. He sold and traded Government bonds as well as Government Agency securities and eventually moved into a management position where he was a Senior Vice President and Manager of the Government Agency Trading and Underwriting desk for many years. He then spent 7 years at Keefe, Bruyette & Woods where he was Executive Vice President and member of the firm’s Management committee. He was responsible for the firms fixed income sales and trading activities. He was also responsible for Fixed Income’s relationship with the Investment Banking division.  After Keefe, Bruyette & Woods Mr. O’Brien was named a Managing Director of Guggenheim Partners where he started and managed the firm’s activities with banks and other financial institutions.

Mr. O’Brien is a Fordham University alumni and is currently the Chairman of Fordham University’s President’s Council and board member of the Catholic Communal Fund. He is a former director of World Currency LLC and is a former trustee of Fordham Preparatory School. He is a member of the Union League Club of New York as well as the Bond Club of New York.
